In 1996 the DSA, with participating insurer’s, commissioned the Pass Plus course for newly qualified drivers. The reason - simple, statistics show 1 in 5 new drivers are involved in an accident within their first 2 years of driving. Why? Lack of knowledge and experience.

How old you are when you pass your test is not relevant.

To reverse the trend Pass Plus was created to enhance the new drivers knowledge and skills. Giving hands on tuition, with a qualified

driving instructor, who is also Pass Plus registered with the DSA ,on how to anticipate and identify hazardous situations and therefore safer driving attitudes.

Oh and by the way, after successful completion of the course and receiving your certificate from the DSA, you may be able to attract a worthwhile discount on your insurance policy.
